Operators should have a logical approach to fault finding, good manual dexterity and numerical skills, together with exceptional hygiene standards. The minimum qualification/experience requirement in the UK is 5 standard grades (including one science-based), together with several years relevant industrial/manufacturing experience. A recognised apprenticeship would be a distinct advantage. Keyboard skills would also be advantageous and a driving licence is essential. Candidates in other locations will need similar qualifications and experience.
