Devro plc, the world's leading producer of collagen products for the food industry, today announces the appointment of Paul Neep as a Non Executive Director. The appointment takes effect immediately.
At the Annual General Meeting on May 5 2005, Patrick Mocatta will retire from the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Neep will succeed Mr Mocatta as Chairman of the Executive Directors' Remuneration Committee.

Mr Neep has been Chief Executive of Glenmorangie plc since 2000. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive he was Managing Director and before that Marketing Director. Between 1990-1997 he worked at Forte Plc / Granada Plc where he served as Marketing Director, Hotel Division, Granada Plc. During his career he has also held senior positions at United Distillers Plc / Guiness Plc and Sterling Drug Inc. Mr Neep began his career as a Management Trainee with Bowater Scott in 1974. He is married with two children.
