In 2003, the Devro group embarked on a process to acquire 100% ownership of the business of its Czech subsidiary, Cutisin. Devro owned 96% of Cutisin as at 31 December 2002.
This transaction has now been completed in compliance with the relevant Czech laws and compensation to be paid to the former minority shareholders has been independently assessed at £2.1 million.
